Gun Safety

Firearms are serious business. There are four basic rules concerning firearms which must be adhered to at all times:

1. Treat all guns as though they are loaded. Even if you're sure the gun is unloaded and have checked it, remember that empty guns have killed a lot of people.

2. Keep the gun pointed in a safe direction (usually down range) at all times. Never point your gun at something you're not willing to destroy. This is especially true even when you think your gun is empty.

3. Keep your finger off the trigger unless it is pointed at something you want to destroy.

4. Know your target and what is beyond it. Your target (especially paper) may not stop your round. Where is your bullet hitting? If it goes through the target and hits the ground, you could skip it.
